back so Gable could still use the outside shower.
Flynn followed suit and moved behind Gable, letting his hands run over the wet hairs on Gable‟s chest, now showing some gray among the dark ones. As Gable stuck his head under the spray, Flynn wiped a hand back over Gable‟s scalp and Gable turned around so he could do the same to Flynn. They stood close together as Gable grabbed the shampoo to wash Flynn‟s hair.
“You don‟t seem too eager to continue where we left off?” Flynn asked.
“I have no doubt we will,” Gable said with a teasing expression on his face. “But I like to prolong the agony, ehm, ecstasy a bit.” Flynn gave him a mock-annoyed look, but showed his enjoyment of what Gable was doing by kissing him and mirroring his movements.
Slowly, the way they were running their hands over each other‟s bodies was becoming sexual again and Flynn took both of their cocks in his hand and rubbed them together, bringing them back to full rigidity.
“Want to fuck me here?” Gable suggested.
“Mmmh,” Flynn agreed. “Don‟t think we‟ll make it upstairs.” Gable turned around and rubbed his ass against Flynn‟s erection.
They were both slippery from the water and shampoo and soap so Flynn slipped into Gable‟s body without any effort. It took them a few moments to find the right configuration, with Gable resting his knee on the bench, which was just the right height, before Flynn started thrusting in earnest.
“Fuck, that feels good,” Gable moaned.
“You always say that,” Flynn replied.

    “That‟s because it always does.”
Every time they made love, in whatever position, it never ceased to amaze Gable how well they fit together. It didn‟t matter how many false starts they‟d had, how many obstacles they‟d had to overcome; it was all worth it for those moments when the world could come to an end around them and they wouldn‟t even notice. It was at moments like these that Gable remembered how Flynn had stuck by him, even when he thought they‟d never be able to make love again, or when Gable thought he could never be happy again, with or without Flynn. There was one constant in his life and that was the guy who had drifted onto his ranch and asked him for a job he‟d found on a scribbled piece of paper at the post office. As Gable slowly felt his orgasm building, he thanked his lucky stars one more time that he‟d said yes that day. Then all those stars erupted at once as Flynn cried out in his ear. He felt the heat of Flynn‟s release flood his groin and then seep out into the rest of his body as he too came with erratic spurts.
They stood under the spray, watching their combined release flow away along with the water, both catching their breath but reluctant to move, as if breaking their union would actually do some damage to their true bonding.
“I fucking love you so much,” Flynn whispered into Gable‟s ear.
“I had no idea,” Gable laughed.
“I almost didn‟t come here, but I was desperate to work on a ranch again.”
“I almost didn‟t say yes, because I was a grumpy bastard who felt too old despite being instantly attracted to you.” Flynn giggled, his arms still wrapped firmly around Gable‟s chest and his chin resting on Gable‟s shoulder. “What do you mean, you were?”
    “You‟re the bastard,” Gable rebutted.
“Yeah, but you love me anyway.”
Gable grew serious and let his head fall back. “More than life itself.”

At that moment, lightning split the balmy evening sky, and almost immediately a loud thunderclap made them both jump.
“Guess we spooked Mother Earth,” Flynn giggled.
“Mmmh, I suppose she just wants her own Clouds and Rain.” 238

    About the Author

ZAHRA OWENS was born in Europe just before Woodstock and the moon landing and was given a much less pronounceable name by her non-English-speaking parents. Being an Aquarian meant she would never quite conform, and people learned to expect the unexpected.
She started writing fairy tales in first grade; the same year she came into contact with her first group of English-speaking friends, a group which would eventually grow to include people from all over the world. On the outside she was a typical only child, accustomed to being with adults most of the time. On the inside, she sought ways to channel her wild imagination.
During the daytime she earns a living as a computer specialist, but it‟s her former career as
