were a couple. They treated one another with the utmost professional respect, always, and never touched each other in a way which could be construed as indicating anything beyond friendship.
When they were alone, however, Bo morphed into a completely different person. Lusty, sensual and surprisingly aggressive once he’d gotten over his initial uncertainty about his own sexual skills. It amazed Sam sometimes, that the man he’d once thought would be repressed and full of hang-ups in bed had turned out to be such an uninhibited and creative lover.
Sam was starting to wonder whether they could get away with a quickie against the wall when a light rap sounded on the door. Breaking the kiss with some difficulty, Sam cleared his throat. “Yes?”
“Sam? Is Bo in there with you? We’re ready to start the wrap-up early, and we need y’all.”
Bo shot a half-annoyed, half-ashamed look at Sam. “I told you we’d be late,” he murmured, giving Sam’s butt a hard smack before pulling out of the embrace. “I’m here, David,” he called. “We’ll be right out.”
On the other side of the door, BCPI’s lead tech specialist, David Broom, snickered like the twelve-yearold Sam often suspected him of being underneath his thirty-something disguise. “Oooh, is there some man-onman action going on in there?”
Sam laughed, and Bo glared at him. “Oh, come on, Bo,” Sam said. “It’s just David. You know he wouldn’t say that if anyone else could hear.”
Bo’s sharp gaze softened, and he sighed. Striding to the door, Bo unlocked it and threw it open. “No, David, there is no action of any sort going on in here.”
“Sorry to disappoint you,” Sam added, doing his best to look sincere. “I know you keep hoping to catch us at it.”
“Sam, I love y’all both, but I do not ever— ever— want to see you two fucking. I’d have to scrub my eyeballs with steel wool and then Cecile would yell at me.” David sauntered into the room and looked them both up and down with a smirk. “I just barely stopped y’all from doing the horizontal Hustle right here on the carpet, didn’t I?”
Groaning, Bo covered his face with both hands. “Go away, David.”
“And that’s the thanks I get.” With an exaggerated sigh, David walked out into the hallway. “See you in a few minutes. Oh, and Sam? What the hell did you do to Toby?”
Sam rubbed his temples. His headache, which had subsided when he was busy kissing Bo, was coming back with a vengeance. “I’ll tell you what happened later. Go on, we’ll be right there.”
“Okay. Don’t be too long. Everybody’s tired and they want to get to bed. Which I expect the two of you understand just fine.” Quirking an eyebrow at them, David strolled off down the hall and turned the corner toward the elevators.
Bo shook his head as he watched David go. “Sometimes I wonder if I’m running a business or an elementary school.”
“Amen to that. At least Cecile and Andre act like adults most of the time.”
“Good thing, since Dean’s just as bad as David is.” Crossing the room, Bo picked up the EMF detector Toby had dropped. “Although, even the two of them are always careful with the equipment. Did Toby leave this on the floor?”
“He dropped it when he went tearing out of the room.” Sam walked over to retrieve his camera and the canvas duffle bag containing the rest of the equipment. “Please tell me it’s not broken.”
Bo inspected it with a critical eye as he and Sam left the room. “It seems to be all right, luckily for Toby.”
“Good.” Sam turned off the lights and shut the door behind them. “I doubt he has the cash left to buy us a new one, after paying for this trip.”
“True.” Glancing around the empty hallway, Bo leaned over and planted a swift kiss on the corner of Sam’s mouth. “Come on. Let’s get downstairs.”
Sam followed Bo to the elevator, a big smile spread across his face.
When Sam woke the next morning, Bo was already in the shower. Sam lay there for a few minutes, staring at the closed bathroom door and smiling. His hips ached and the sheets tangled around his naked body smelled like sex. God, he loved it when Bo fucked him to within an inch of his life. It was well worth every one of the little aches and pains the next morning.
A vision flashed into Sam’s mind—Bo flat on his back, legs up and spread, Sam’s cock buried to the root in his ass. Sam shoved it impatiently away. Bo wasn’t ready to bottom yet, and Sam
