    Jess Rothenberg, 1983 geboren, studierte Englisch und Soziologie, und arbeitete viele Jahre als Jugendbuchlektorin bei Penguin Razorbill. Nebenher begann sie ein Studium für professionelles Schreiben. Weißt du eigentlich, dass du mir das Herz gebrochen hast? ist ihr Debüt, das in den USA für großes Aufsehen sorgte und dessen Übersetzungsrechte in alle wichtigen Länder verkauft wurden. Bei Hanser erscheint es im Herbst 2012. Jess Rothenberg lebt in Brooklyn, New York, und lebt inzwischen vom Schreiben.
